NADMDC  - Newton Abbot District Metal Detecting Club

The Newton Abbot & District Metal Detecting Club was formed in the second half of 2013, a mixed bunch of people from all walks of life, a Policeman, a Restaurant Owner, a Radio Ham, a Clergyman to name but a few. We abide by the Guidelines laid down by the Portable Antiquities Scheme and the National Council for Metal Detecting. We hold Public Liability Cover and abide by the Countryside Code.​

Anybody wishing to carry out metal detecting on our foreshore requires a permit. This permit does not apply to the seabed or river beds or any other Crown Estate land.
